UX Writing and SEO for TalenTeam’s Website Refresh

About TalenTeam

TalenTeam is a UK-based SAP SuccessFactors partner specialising in HR technology solutions.

Problem

Website traffic had declined significantly due to outdated content, unclear messaging, excessive jargon, inconsistent branding, and a user experience that was difficult to navigate. 
Visitors struggled to find what they needed, calls-to-action were often missed, and engagement on key pages was low. 


Teamwork:

Solution and Results

What changed:

  • Removed outdated and repetitive content (some points were repeated across 3+ sections).

  • UX Writing: Applied plain language principles to make content clear, concise, and user-friendly.

  • SEO: Optimised content and keywords following SEO best practices, boosting visibility for priority product terms.

  • Consistency: Ensured a unified content strategy and brand voice to strengthen trust and credibility.

  • Navigation & CTAs: Improved layout with intuitive navigation and stronger calls-to-action, leading to higher engagement on key pages.

  • Rebranding and Visuals: Unified the look and feel by sticking to a single orange for better contrast, removing outdated/repetitive content, and choosing imagery aligned with brand guidelines.

  • Design: Added modern visuals to create a cohesive and approachable look.

Creative process

1. UX Audit and Analytics Review

We analysed user behaviour and traffic data to identify pain points like high bounce rates, confusing navigation paths, and content gaps that were causing users to drop off.

3. Mockups and User Flow Design

I created simple mockups on Figma with clear guidelines to help shape easy navigation and focused storytelling. The goal was to keep the brand voice consistent and make the site straightforward to use. These were shared with the design team to develop the final pages.

2. Prioritising High-Value Pages

We focused on the pages that mattered most, like the homepage, services, and product pages. This helped us make sure the site flowed smoothly and kept a consistent voice across the board.

4. Content Strategy and SEO

I planned out the content carefully, using plain language and a consistent tone so visitors could easily understand the key messages. I worked with our SEO team to select the right on page and off page content.
